The gown Linda, our bride wore, was two pieces; separates allowed a second outfit change partway through the celebration. Her real-life fiancé, Mitch, wore a classic suit that perfectly complimented his bride. Linda’s hair and makeup was superb, by Wink Hair and Makeup, and that, too, was changed halfway through. She literally let her hair down with the corseted, strapless second look.
Mitch wore a vest and suit jacket, brown leather shoes and simple yet elegant gold cufflinks. He had a dried flower boutonniere whose highlight was a white Honest flower, or Lunaria Biennis. His white tie was perfect to compliment his bride in both her wedding day looks.
The ceremony setup was gorgeously understand yet impactful. Gold bar stools lined the aisle for guests with white birchwood and tall dried grasses at the front “alter” for the bride and groom to recite vows between.
A small dinner table was set with gold flatware, white and gold cups and white rattan chargers. A piece of gauze-like cloth was set as the table runner and Lotus Pod dried flowers with cotton and grass accents, and linen napkins tied with leather. Guest names were stamped in gold on leather strips to match the invitation suite and favor tags. Dessert was sweet white meringues and guest favors were lovely lavender filled satchels tied with silk ribbon and leather “for you” tags.
