I heard the rumors of the beauty of this venue before I saw it with my own eyes. As soon as the restaurant opened I was anxious to get in there to see its interior design. It was stunning. I had only seen the first floor when their event coordinator, Chelsea, messaged me to ask if I wanted a tour of the entire space. YES! I emphatically messaged her back.
This venue is a perfect option for various celebrations – from dinners in their private room on their first floor to their second floor lounge area and bar that can be made into its own separate space with sliding glass walls. The entire restaurant is oozing with color, intriguing art, and creative design materials.
Leave it to a photographer to stop my Vidrio tour to gush over the corridor that leads to the bathrooms. So much so when I photographed a styled shoot there a few months later I took the bride and groom here for pictures. But look at that incredible blue! I was also head over heels for the wall of mirrors and lounge area nearby, the wonderful furniture and roll up glass walls (garage style) that give you the option of letting the outdoors in.
Vidrio means “glass” in Spanish and the tie- in to such a beautiful material is most evident in their focal wall in their main dining room. The great thing is you can see it from most areas in the restaurant. When you look from far away it appears to be a kaleidoscope of colors. From a closer distance you can see how it’s comprised of individual discs, each unique in color, patterns and shape. I love the repeating cylinders you can see throughout the restaurant. Whether it’s in the twists of ropes in the main dining area or in the hanging wooden “noodles,” as I like to call them, in the private dining room and bar on the first floor, they’re all beautiful!
