DON'T HESITATE TO REACH OUT.
I was sitting in a meeting with Carly, of Carly Marie Events, talking about all the great things Greensboro has to offer. This was when a relatively new event space came into the conversation. She brought up Cadillac Service Garage and told me this Greensboro wedding venue used to be an auto-paint shop. It was taken over by some new owners who transformed it into a destination for co-working and events. My ears perked up and my eyes widened! I loved the concept and knew I had to see it as she explained the space in more detail.
Later that afternoon I traveled the short distance to the building address to see Cadillac Service Garage first-hand. It was such an impromptu decision but I was in the area and was aching to see it. Lo and behold, a manager was there who asked if I wanted to peek inside…of course I said yes. Below are photos from that day. I hope I’m lucky enough to photograph a wedding here in the near future! It’s totally my style and I jive with its urban feel in a southern town. I know couples who get married here will jive with my style of photography.
The space is very industrial cool. The entrance area has a black and white checkered tile floor and a gorgeous bar. Rolling chalkboards provide a canvas of endless possibilities: guests could potentially find the wedding couples names there or the evening’s charity event or hand drawn menu options. A beautifully crafted wood and metal staircase leads to an upstairs space.
