There ain’t nothin’ wrong with a little indulgence on Valentine’s Day and I know just the way I’m celebrating…with French macarons. 🙂 And lots of “I love you’s!” But, Mikkel – don’t you think this holiday is a little Hallmark? RUBBISH!
I actually LOVE Valentine’s Day. And it’s not because I have some amazing boyfriend or spouse who takes me out for a romantic evening, and it’s not because Cupid accurately aims his arrow at me every year. It’s because I’m a hopeless hopeful romantic and I am so fortunate to have incredible family and friends in my life. And it’s never too late, too early or the wrong day to say I Love You…but Valentine’s Day is a good reminder to shout it from the rooftops. Life’s short – tell the people who matter to you, you love them.

- In 2013 I received a super cute heart from Birdhouse Productions, cinematographers
- In 2014 I posted about my grandparents love and the art my grandfather made my grandmother and was even featured on Refinery 29 with some sweet proposal photography!
I said it in 2011 and I’ll say it again in 2015….
