A cool breeze blows the feathers in the bride’s hair in the direction of her groom. They have smiles from ear-to-ear and gorgeous green Nevada cacti, weeping willow trees and incredibly vibrant flowers surround them. Native American inspiration is sprinkled everywhere, from Springs Preserve’s rich rust-colored mountain dotted landscape to the bouquet of turkey feathers the maid of honor holds. This is Feather and Stone, styled shoot.
Meandering through the grounds of the eco-friendly venue was such a dreamland. There were gorgeous trees and sculptures all around. Springs Preserve is on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s easy to see why this gorgeous place warrants such a noteworthy accolade.
The best man and maid of honor were almost as stunning as the bride and groom. I loved her coral dress and his tweed vest. I instantly fell in love with Juliet’s amazing fishtail braids. They looked on as Dakota and Austin enjoyed some wedding day laughter.
Of course we all RSVP’ed yes to the wedding, and we were off to enjoy the ceremony. The great thing about a gorgeous venue is that you don’t have to do much to dress it up. Just touches here and there that compliment the site will do and let both the site and your unique details shine.
The cake is always a highlight detail of any wedding. We were spoiled with three amazing cakes to feast our eyes on.
The tableware was incredible. Turquoise plates and gold flatware were topped with gorgeous menus and gold-tipped feathers.
But what’s a celebration without the bride and groom?
To say the planning that went into Feather and Stone was impressive is putting it lightly. I couldn’t believe how organized and well run it was – from months before to the very end.
