NYC’s Upper East Side has never sparkled so beautifully! Between Matthew’s amazing heirloom engagement ring to his bride-to-be and Emily’s breathtaking blue eyes I would say there was no way their engagement session was going to be anything but incredible.
Emily is one of the cutest brides ever and I love working with her. The night before we met up she was emailing me pictures of outfits possibilities. She hoped she wasn’t interrupting my Friday night. Haha! I laugh because here’s my favorite thing to do on a Friday night: drink wine, edit photos, and watch (or mostly listen to) Dateline! I was so happy to hear from her and help her choose their outfits. Isn’t the result phenomenal? Their blues are complimentary but not too matchy-matchy, and I love how she spiced up her outfit with a little leopard belt. Rawr!
After enjoying some pastries from one of their favorite neighborhood bakeries (where Matthew gets coffee every morning!) we walked east to Carl Schurz Park.

Needless to say, I cannot wait to photograph their wedding next July. I mean…if they looked this happy and stunning at their engagement session it’s only going to be amplified times 1,000 on their special day!
