These photos from an event at The Glass Box with mimosas, Mindy Kaling and are so stunning it’s hard to believe it was all for a bookclub meeting in downtown Raleigh. From vibrant blue linens to a lace table runner, to vintage books stacked to elevate incredible centerpieces with silver mercury glass vases, to candles and white pumpkins, its a feast for the eyes…and stomach. Mindy’s book, “Why Not Me?” was the focus of the evening and the club women sat around this lavishly styled table sipping champagne, eating cheese and crackers with pumpkin hummus, discussing the pages of her wonderful collection of essays. Blue linens were the base for gorgeous table toppers: a lace table runner was laid down next, vintage books on top of that and the ultimate finisher was floral centerpieces with roses, lisianthus, larkspur, blue thistle, hydrangea and gold-sprayed greenery in silver mercury glass vases and light blue candles dotted between them.

White pumpkins were everywhere and the special cake was wrapped in sheets containing pages of the book and its cover. Cupcakes were dashed with glitter and as the final sweet end to a beautiful evening.
