INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH MIKKEL?
DON'T HESITATE TO REACH OUT.
Spring certainly has sprung and Georgetown was in bloom with gorgeous spring colors highlighted especially by how cute and in love Erica and Daniel were, during their engagement session in Washington, DC on the C&O Canal.
We planned for their photoshoot in Washington, DC just an hour or so south of where Daniel grew up near Baltimore. The weather report called for rain and we feverishly watched the forecast for a few days until Sunday arrived and it was time for their session; the weather ended up being perfect! It was a tad misty but the clouds created a “softbox” for photos. It also meant we didn’t have to compete with many other pedestrians. Win-win!!! And that umbrella in some of their moments? Super cute.
The C&O Canal is miles long and part of the National Park Service park system. We stayed in a concentrated area of it, though, in historic Georgetown. It’s hard to believe there’s such a tranquil, quiet, lush path behind M Street, the busiest main road in Georgetown.
We lucked out with this pretty purple and blue mural wall to end our session and we lucked out with the weather – it turned out to be one of my favorite engagement sessions, EVER!
If you like what you see don’t forget to check out Facebook and Instagram for more photo goodness. I am looking forward to capturing these two on their wedding day in just a few weeks!
Happy Saturday!
