The venue is also open for overnight guests, as an inn of course. Their restaurants welcome visitors looking for a great meal whether for dinner or brunch. (I’m impartial to Sunday brunch at The Lawn restaurant, when you can sip a Bloody Mary in a wooden Adirondack chair with quite a spectacular view.) The Dining Room, as its called, is another dining option at Castle Hill Inn. Weddings welcome guests to a popular option of a tented reception and delicious catering. I especially love the beautiful tent Maria and Omar had, draped with hundreds of yards of fabric.
Maria’s beautiful bouquet was filled with white orchids and pops of bright greenery. Her gold and silver shoes were as timeless as her strapless gown and long lace-edged veil. Omar wore a custom black suit with a special label inside that had his name and wedding date on it. We roamed around the property to capture their Castle Hill Inn wedding photos, going everywhere from the hill to the rock cliffs near the lighthouse, where you can see sailboats cruising on the water.
Fall tones were carried throughout the reception, with brown linens and gold Chiavari chairs keeping decor in a neutral family. Their center floral arrangements were white, keeping things very classy. One of my favorite details of the day was their four-tier cake, covered with chocolate ganache fondant and gumpaste dogwood flowers. Petals cascaded down the cake and onto the table, painted with gold edges. Guests enjoyed an outdoor ceremony lined with white petals and an outdoor cocktail hour on the lawn. They danced the night away under the beautiful tent following an incredible sunset!
