I don’t normally post about myself but I happen to love birthdays and, well, it’s my birthday today. I was born 32 years ago today, on a snowy day in April, in New York. It was extra special because I was born on my maternal grandfather’s birthday, my grandpa Marvin.
I’m not really into posting selfies or photos of myself but on a trip to San Francisco last weekend my friend Jesse Leake and I had some fun in Sausalito snapping these next to a “32” and I couldn’t resist. (Thank you for the photos, Jesse!) This weekend I enjoyed a girls’ weekend getaway with my good friend, Valla, enjoying Savannah, Georgia, celebrating life, our friendship and my birthday!
Today I will take time to reflect on how fortunate I am to be surrounded by amazing family and friends, how grateful I am to be living the life I created for myself that I love so dearly and how lucky I am to have incredible opportunities come my way that I say “yes” to over and over again. I truly think my third decade of life has been my best and I can’t wait to see what the years ahead have in store!
Happy Sunday, and happy birthday to me! (And since I think a birthday also is a special day for parents, hi mom and dad! I love you!)
