What do I REALLY want in 2010?  I’ve decided it’s getting my photography business off the ground.

Steps to make this happen:

  1. Start a website specifically for my photography (Domain name?  Check!  Host?  Check!)
  2. GET BUSINESS CARDS!!
  3. Advertise
  4. Photograph more people for my portfolio

Have you seen some of the amazing business cards out there?  I never thought coming up with the right card idea would so difficult!  Check out this site (this one too!) for some really cool ideas.

I plan to start my site by next month and hopefully have it up and running by mid-February!

Good luck getting your photography business up and running. You can do it! Can’t wait to see your website.:-)

My daughter (who is 20) just started doing this. She has made and sold one of her designes for a logo and some of her photography.

She is still in school but has been doing this as a side. She has also designed her own bussiness cards. Can you tell I am a proud mommy

Good luck with your biz plan! Way to get started!

A friend of mine started her photography business last year, and she’s doing pretty well with it….mostly through word of mouth, but she did also create a really nice website. Good luck with your business.

I search and recently came across your blog and have been reading along. It was wonderful blog.
