A sweet southern setting, subtle purple, grey and silver tones and a hint of blue, and a beautiful couple round out this fantastic wedding inspiration with photos at Rose Hill Plantation in Nashville, North Carolina. (Yup, you read that city correctly!) We are so excited The Perfect Palette featured it last week and are excited to share it with you.

The bride wore a strapless sweetheart neckline gown with a tulip-petal like layered skirt and lace bodice. The groom donned a grey suit topped with a deep purple pocket square and boutonniere wrapped in lavender purple ribbon to match his bride’s bouquet. The bridesmaids each wore a different gown to add varietal interest to the day – one wore lilac with a train and fishtail braid and the other a very light lavender with spaghetti straps and braided crown up-do. All the ladies wore beautiful semi-precious gem and gold jewelry from the same designer.

One of the reasons the venue is so stunning is thanks to its swan-filled lake and expansive lawns. The wrap around porch on the old southern home is as charming as the vintage getaway car the couple escaped in, which is where the dinner was setup so guests could enjoy the outdoors and scenery.

The cake was the perfect compliment to the day. Not only was there a single vanilla mini-cupcake at each place setting on the dinner table, topped with a plump blackberry, but there was a three-tiered cake whose bottom layer ruffles were the sweetest softest addition to its clean design.

The flower girl was a show-stopper! She had a lace and uniquely colored purple tulle skirt (just perfect for a little girl) and carried a confetti-filled balloon with live flowers on the ribbon attached to it.
